Day to day program
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival in Larnaca. Larnaca is a historic port city on the southeastern coast of Cyprus, on the Mediterranean Sea.
Our guide will pick us up from the airport and escort us to our hotel in the city.
After the flight there will be time to relax and acclimatize.

Day 2: Larnaca
Today is all about exploring Larnaca on foot. We start at the famous salt lake, once used for salt extraction. After that, we visit the historical buildings in the city: the Church of Saint Lazarus, a large religious building with beautiful Byzantine architecture. We also go to Hala Sultan Tekke, a serene mosque near the salt lake. Along the way, we see the old Kamares Aqueduct, built in 1746 by the Turkish governor Bekir Pascha to provide the city with water. We end the day with a walk to Larnaca Castle by the sea, with beautiful views and more insight into the history of the city.

Day 3: Troodos Mountains & Villages
Leaving the coast, we head into the green Troodos Mountains. The day begins with a scenic walk of a few hours along the Kalidonia trail, passing streams and waterfalls. We then visit the picturesque village of Kakopetria for a short hike and enjoy lunch in the small village of Fini, where we taste local specialties. In the afternoon, we explore Omodos, a charming village known for its traditional church and old winery. Afterwards, we return to our hotel in Larnaca.
Day 4: Aphrodite’s Rock and Paphos
Today we travel west to the Paphos region. We start with a visit to the famous Aphrodite's Rock, an impressive rock formation in the sea, according to mythology the birthplace of the goddess of love Aphrodite. Then we continue our route to Paphos, known for its many archaeological sites, all of which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List as protected cultural heritage. There are beautiful ancient mosaics and ruins that tell stories from Roman and Byzantine times. Finally, we walk to the old harbour before returning to Larnaca.
Day 5: Discovering Nicosia
We visit Nicosia, the island's capital, with a remarkable history as a divided city. During a walk through the old city walls we cross from the Greek Cypriot south to the Turkish Cypriot north. We learn about the division of the city and see interesting sights such as lively markets, historic churches, mosques and cultural centres. This day gives a good impression of the complex past and present of Cyprus.
Day 6: Lefkara Village & Honey Tasting
We travel to Lefkara, a picturesque village known for its handmade lace and traditional stone houses. We also visit the 11th century Angeloktisti Church, one of the most beautiful Byzantine churches in Cyprus. The church has a beautiful mosaic floor, which has been almost completely preserved.
In Lefkara there is time to walk through the streets and visit the Church of the Holy Cross. We also join a beekeeping tour in the area, where we learn all about honey production and taste different types of local honey.

Day 7: Cape Greco, Ayia Nap & Boat Trip
This last full day is dedicated to the beautiful east coast. We start with a hike in Cape Greco National Park, where captivating cliffs meet the Mediterranean Sea, offering spectacular views. We then visit the bustling resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras, with time to explore the area or relax on the beach. The day ends with a relaxing boat trip along the coast, giving you a different perspective of the island.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast we will be transferred to Larnaca airport for your return flight.
Depending on your departure time there may be some free time for shopping in the city or for a final walk along the beach.
